Performance Ensemble

Students are encouraged to participate in Performance Ensemble opportunities. Students must be willing to commit to rehearsals outside the regularly scheduled class times.

2022-2023 Performance Ensemble Auditions

Open auditions will be held for the 2022-2023 performance season on Saturday August 27th. Role acceptance must be in entirety (all roles accepted or no roles accepted)

2022-2023 Season of Performance Ensemble Plans and Auditions

We are excited to announce the performance season starting with Nutcracker (Dec 1st-4th), Raymonda and Collaboration with Joffrey Concert Group (Feb 24th-26th) and La Sylphide (May 26-28th), Travel Ensemble to perform with Joffrey Concert Group in New York City (May 14th). All performances are scheduled at the Anderson Center Theater. Casting for Nutcracker will be released in September, casting for Raymonda will be released in October, casting for La Sylphide and Travel Ensemble will be released in January.

Auditions Information:

Performance Ensemble auditions for all productions will be held at Le Jeune Dance Studios August 27th for ages 3-18. Please see specific age/level audition times.

 

All participants will be casted in a role if:

*Participants can commit to the mandatory rehearsal and performance schedule. General rehearsal schedule is: Tuesday-Pas de Deux and Solo/Principal and sometime advanced corps, Fri Eve- All roles may be called, Saturday Afternoon-All roles may be called

*Submit contact and fees on time

*Families are required to donate 1 sweets and treats item, and volunteer for (2) positions during tech week or pay volunteer opt out fee

Participation Form  (Nutcracker, Raymonda/Collaboration with Joffrey Concert Group, La Sylphide, Travel Ensemble)

$50 non refundable Casting Fee due with participation form at time of audition. This Casting Fee will be deducted from your Nutcracker participation/role fee when the role is accepted.

*Please enter the building 10 minutes ahead of your audition time with your participation form and casting fee prepared.

Schedule of Auditions

2:30 -3:15  Levels 4-Trainee

3:30-3:45  Ages 3-6 attending Creative Dance-1A)

4:00-4:15  Ages 7 and up attending Pre Ballet-Level 1b-2b (females with no pointe experience)

4:30-4:45 Ages 9 and up attending levels 2b-3+ (female dancers that have pointe experience)
