SPECIAL PERFORMANCE! Le Jeune Dance is so excited to be offering local schools and children’s organizations a free opportunity to enrich students through the art of live performance. We offer free tickets to our performance of the traditional Nutcracker ballet on Friday December 10th at 10:00 AM at the Anderson Center Theater. We are passionate about sharing the arts with the community and we hope you can be a part of the magical tradition.

Additionally, we are scheduling a limited number of “Behind the Scenes” outreaches during November 8-12th to groups that have reserved tickets to our special showing of the Nutcracker December 10th. During the “Behind the Scenes” outreach we will come to your location to dance with your children, share costumes, pointe shoes, props and discuss the “behind the scenes” aspects of a full ballet production. We offer this with no associated fees. It is part of our mission to educate, enrich and excite the community with dance. Ages 5 and up are welcome!

Health and safety for the audience is important to us. In order to bring the community together in a comfortable manner during the covid-19 heath concerns, audience members including your organization staff, volunteers and students are required to wear a mask at all times while in the theater. Each school/organization will have empty seats marked off around them to allow social distancing. The first row of the seats closest to the performers will not be use to allow separation between the performers and the audience. For this reason a limited number of seats are available.

Please contact us before October 31st to make your reservations for “Behind the Scenes” outreach and tickets. Use the contact submission form on the website.

Important Details: The Nutcracker School Showing is a condensed version of the Nutcracker ballet and runs approximately 1.5hrs in length with one brief intermission. The length and atmosphere is perfect for our young patrons. Your children share the theater house with other wiggly and enthusiastic audience members of similar age making it a comfortable and thrilling experience to remember!

Admission: Free. Tickets must be reserved by October 31st. Tickets are given in order of request and is first come first serve until there are not tickets. All audience members must be ticketed including teachers, students and chaperones. Tickets are not available at the door on December 10th for this show.

Organization: For each group a designated leader must be assigned. This leader will communicate with Le Jeune Dance, will receive the tickets and must hand out all tickets to their group prior to arriving at the theater. Please make sure those receiving tickets will be in attendance as each ticket is an important opportunity for us to share the arts with deserving youth and their families in our community.
